To guarantee optimal conditions for working with textile yarn (cutting, sewing) the yarn is treated with size.  In most cases, the size consists of starch. By using Amysol products, the size can be broken down into a water-soluble solution (dextrine and sugar) which can easily be washed out.  In this way it is removed from the fabric. Removing the size is a pre-requisite for the effective treatment of, for example, jeans and other denim ware with cellulases ( Lavaferm-products), particularly when applying purely enzymatic processing, i.e. without using pumice stone, in order to protect the machines and avoid creating excess sludge.  

For the removal of these sizes, Dr. Lucà & Partner has established the brand Amysol. Amysol products comprise ready formulated products, that are extremely user-friendly and inexpensive.

 

For the removal of tenacious sizes (e.g. acrylate or polyester based) but also for starch-based sizes, the universal pre and final rinsing agents DI-X can also be successfully applied.
